Being Thankful for What You Have
I have so much to be thankful for in 2006. It really hits you when you are sending out your holiday cards and come up with a never ending list of people who are special to you. It helps me reflect on what is truly important and who has helped get me to where I am. It's funny because once you become a parent the holiday cards take on a whole new meaning. Case in point is the fact that not only do our holiday cards highlight our little gift, baby Madison, but also that we aren't in it. Which is more than fine with me since Madison is much cuter than I'll ever be!
Wishing you and yours a peaceful holiday season and a prosperous New Year!
Madison's First Christmas
A Christmas Poem by Angelo A. Rossetti
For Baby Madison and Wife Pamela.
She awakes in the morning
stretching, blinking and yawning.
To the warmth of the lights with glee
so special to be with her family.
Strewn around the tree are presents galore
red and green paper and bows around the floor.
Although she won't know the details for sure
she may remember the soft touch of fur or the sound of purrs.
We are so blessed to have a child so pleasant
more than a gift or any other present.
These precious moments of her first Christmas we cherish
stored with our camera so they won't perish.
The holidays are about giving
every moment worth re-living.
But one thing is for sure
this day in time so pure.
So as Christmas day comes to close,
we all know something so precious has arose.
One thing we know is true
with all of our hearts we love YOU!
Merry Christmas Madison - We Love You Now and Forever.
