Expressing Gratitude

We held a member appreciation party at the Weston Racquet Club last night, which included a ribbon cutting ceremony for our new website, www.WestonRacquet.com. Over 50 people supported our event. During one of my brief speeches during the evening I said that the act of expressing gratitude is so important yet done too infrequently in this world. If we didn't have loyal customers we wouldn't have jobs. Although I jokingly said that some feel the operative word is "party" in a Member Appreciation Party, I said that the would "appreciation" is the more important word.

This world would become a better place if more people take a moment to thank someone for something that they appreciate rather than complain about something that they aren't happy with.

As we approach Thanksgiving let us truly be thankful for the things that bring peace, happiness and joy to our lives.
